Human-guided, AI-boosted

How we work

We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. We combine Agile principles with a systemic approach to organisations — because transparency, short feedback loops, and continuous adaptation are the only honest way to navigate complexity.

Start from real requirements

We begin with your goals, constraints, and existing ways of working — mapping knowledge needs, identifying bottlenecks, and defining clear acceptance criteria for every deliverable. Technology follows people, not the other way around.

Build in short learning cycles

We work in sprints, with defined goals, regular reviews, and a backlog that evolves with the project. Teams test ideas early, adapt often, and stay connected to what actually works in practice — avoiding the roadmap trap of planning too far ahead.

Support adoption and change

We do not stop at delivery. Through documentation, coaching, piloting, and change management, we support teams in integrating new tools and practices — ensuring that what we build together is adopted with confidence and sustained over time.
Quality and accountability

AI usage with clear guidelines

We use AI where it creates clear value — with internal guidelines, human oversight, and full responsibility for the final outcome.

AI supports the work

We use AI tools to accelerate tasks such as drafting, coding, testing, extraction, summarisation, and structured content workflows — where they can meaningfully improve speed and consistency.

People set the direction

Our team defines the architecture, project context, data boundaries, and quality expectations. AI supports the process — it does not replace judgment, responsibility, or domain expertise.

Guidelines and review stay in place

We work with internal usage guidelines for AI-assisted delivery. Everything produced with AI is reviewed, refined, and validated by experienced professionals before it reaches a client.

Open, practical, and context-aware

Whenever possible, software developed by us is released under open source licenses (e.g. AGPLv3, MIT), and project outputs such as reports or learning materials may be shared under the most appropriate Creative Commons license.

This reflects our commitment to the Principles for Digital Development.

What we use

We rely on open source tools in our daily work, both to run our own operations and to build practical, transparent solutions for the organizations we support.

We openly share our stack. OneOffTech is not affiliated with Rocket.Chat, Nextcloud or GitLab. Trademarks belong to their respective owners.
